I tried the Birria Ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. For anyone unfamiliar — birria is a slow-cooked, Mexican-style shredded beef that’s rich, tender, and packed with flavor. It’s usually simmered in a deep red chili broth that’s savory, slightly smoky, and incredibly comforting. This version combines that flavorful birria broth with ramen noodles, and it works beautifully. The broth was rich and well-seasoned without being overwhelming. The shredded beef tasted authentic and tender, and the fresh toppings — cilantro, onions, and lime — balanced everything perfectly. The lime especially brightens the whole bowl. They even had chopsticks available, which made the experience feel intentional and well thought out. If you’ve never had birria before, this is a great introduction. If you have had it, this is a creative and satisfying twist. Highly recommend!

The steak and chicharron tacos with corn tortillas were sooo good and full of flavor. Loved the guacamole. Rice was wonderful. Chips are crunchy but not stale. Top shelf mango marg was strong and not too sweet. Can't say enough good things.

My husband and I finally got to have a date night and we chose La Luna. I am so glad we did because La Luna is the best restaurant around here. The restaurant was immaculately clean, the music was just the right touch to set the tone, our waiter was absolutely top notch. We got to meet one of the owners and he was so welcoming, the art work is so beautiful and the margaritas were on point !! The food here is so delicious and authentic !! This is our new favorite!!!

La Luna Mexican Grille is admittedly not in a prime location. However, that has nothing to do with the pleasant atmosphere, courteous, competent staff and authentic food. There is a large menu to choose from, and every meal I've personally tried has induced me back to try more items. One of my favorites is what I refer to as the "Tamale Plate." With all the Mexican restaurant choices you can make, I recommend you also try La Luna. I believe you will return often.

The best Mexican food I’ve had in Louisiana so far, their chips we’re fresh and hot and their queso and salsa sauce was great. I had a quesadilla that of course came with huge portions and beautifully done, their guacamole really is special and their service was very attentive. Their atmosphere was great, place is brand new with great decoration and the music set the mood very well, had lots of fun and I definitely recommend coming even if it costs you a detour.
